We are big fans of the early Miller engine driven welders. The Miller BlueStar® 2-E air-cooled engine driven welder was as reliable as you could find. This unit was simple and very popular. It came with the venerable Tecumseh® OHV 14 engine. This welder was a later version of the Bluestar® 1-E, which had a Kohler® single cylinder engine. The Tecumseh engine is very reliable. More importantly they were, and to some extent still are maintainable.

Miller has never supported the engines, except for simple maintenance items. Here at Weldmart we support the Tecumseh® engine, carburetors, all internal engine parts, and now replacement upgrade ignition modules.

We here at Weldmart have this part, along with many parts for the engines and welders for the original Miller machines. Before you throw your venerable Miller away, give us a call.

If you have a Tecumseh OHV110, OHV120, OHV130, OHV140, OHV180, or OHV200″ single cylinder engine; there are no replacement electronic ignition modules (Tecumseh P/N: 610748) for these engines. These engines were used on many industrial engines because they have 1 & 1/16″, 1 & 1/8″, and 1 & 3/16″ shafts. They also were used on tractors, asphalt pavers, pumps, winches, and welders.
